Polyurethane Formulation (2203/1002)

The Polyurethane formulation of STEEL-IT is best for application to a variety of surfaces, especially those that are exposed to sunlight or other UV sources. For outdoor structural steel and machinery parts that undergo UV exposure—like outdoor tanks or structures—choose the polyurethane formulation of STEEL-IT. The polyurethane formulation also boasts the easiest application process of the various formulations.

Epoxy Formulations (4210/4907, 4220/4908 or 8908)

The Epoxy formulations of STEEL-IT coating systems offer the utmost in value and durability.  With superior durability, resistance to chemical corrosion and chemical abrasion, resistance to mechanical abrasion, and a high solids formulation that is available in two colors, STEEL-IT’s epoxy formulations offer an all-purpose coating that boasts value in both the amount of product needed for adequate coverage and the coating’s longevity.

High Temp Formulations (5903 and 7156)

STEEL-IT High Temp coatings are intended for use where surface temperatures reach above 200°F, such as the external surfaces of industrial ovens, certain types of piping used in chemical and other manufacturing, and more. Customers choose which high temp coating is right for them based on whether USDA approval is required; whether the surface will be exposed to corrosive chemicals; or whether the surface will be exposed to sunlight or other sources of ultraviolet radiation.
