Industrial & Maintenance Applications
Extend the Life of Structural Steel, Machinery, Equipment, Tools and Fixtures
FOR OVER 50 YEARS, STEEL-IT HAS SIGNIFICANTLY EXTENDED THE LIFE OF METAL USED INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES
In factories, job shops, and most anywhere manufacturing gets done, STEEL-IT has found numerous applications protecting CNC machines, welding stations, carts, cabinets, shelving and even the smallest items such as brackets supporting lighting fixtures. Especially appropriate for steel, aluminum, and certain grades of stainless steel (e.g., 304), STEEL-IT provides an easy-to-apply and easy-to-maintain coating solution to protect materials that corrode or degrade over time while simultaneously offering a clean, professional look.
HOW STEEL-IT WORKS
STEEL-IT Brand Coatings achieve their superior level of performance by combining an abundance of custom-engineered 316L stainless steel micro-flakes with various resins, including polyurethane and epoxy. When sprayed, brushed, or rolled on, these flakes align horizontally to form a densely packed barrier of pure stainless steel. This stainless steel shield makes materials coated with STEEL-IT nearly impervious to corrosion and corrosive elements while providing a durable finish that resists scratching and flaking even under the most challenging conditions.
STEEL-IT OFFERS UV-RESISTANT
POLYURETHANE OPTIONS FOR
OUTDOORS AND TOUGH
EPOXIES FOR INSIDE
STEEL-IT’s single-component, polyurethane coatings, available in gallons, quarts, and aerosols, are ideal for outdoor applications where UV rays are a concern and are often used indoors when easy-touchup is a must using STEEL-IT Polyurethane’s handy aerosols. STEEL-IT Polyurethane is also weldable! There’s no need to grind off the coating to make repairs or attach add-ons. Just weld right through the coating and then touch up the work area using the aerosol. The newly applied coating blends right in leaving no sign of any work having been done.
STEEL-IT’s 2-component epoxy coatings offer an even more rugged abrasion-and chemical-resistant coating. Like the polyurethane coatings, the epoxies provide a smooth, super-durable finish that looks beautiful and performs magnificently.
