Since it’s the eve of a new short course off road season, it’s time for STEEL-IT®Brand Coatings to announce an enhanced partnership with Ryan Beat Motorsports. Going back several years, STEEL-IT partnered up with Ryan Beat to support his Pro Lite program. Since then, Beat has earned back-to-back national championships and expanded to campaign a Pro 2 truck. For 2021, STEEL-IT and RBM are growing the partnership again by adding a new Pro Spec truck under the tent.
Ryan Beat Motorsports is proud to reveal the first of its kind, purpose-built Pro Spec truck designed around the Chevrolet Performance V6 aluminum powerplant and mated to the G-Force four-speed manual transmission. Naturally, the race chassis and suspension components are coated with STEEL-IT 1012 Black Polyurethane and equipped with high-performance Bilstein Shocks, Vision Wheels, Toyo Tires and a Chevrolet truck body.
Ryan Beat has grown his racing effort from a small independent team to a hired wheelman racing in all three separate professional top tier classes, back to a private team, owner and driver of his own trucks built in-house. Nowadays, RBM has evolved into a championship-winning team and truck builder, providing equipment to other racers.
Chevrolet Performance tapped RBM to help grow the Championship Off-Road Series' new PRO Spec division and inject a credible dose of competition. "It has taken a lot of hard work & effort to get to this point. Everything has snowballed year over year, and now we are positioned to help others and ultimately help build up the sport. I want to show these guys what can be done, how they can be competitive on a budget, and share all the knowledge with others. We are just getting started."
Beat continued, "This is a full-time job for us. We stay very busy and STEEL-IT is essential to the entire program because it saves us time & money by cutting way down on labor as we can do things in-house. Applying the STEEL-IT weldable polyurethane stainless steel coating all over the tube chassis, the suspension components, and many other parts makes it so much easier to clean, repair, and prepare for the next race. My team and I work very hard to maintain a certain professional look to represent our partners appropriately. STEEL-IT is the simple way for us to keep every part of the program looking nice and new."
See Ryan’s impressive career accolades he has earned over the years.
